I graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Dentistry in 1982 and received my master's degree. After working in my clinic in Izmir for 16 years, we moved to Dalyan in June 1998 so that our children and family could live in natural beauty. In 2024, we celebrated the 42nd anniversary of my profession with our friends in Dalyan. Among my hobbies, I spend the most time with my bike. Travel, music, nature, theater, concerts and swimming are also my favorite hobbies. I work as a volunteer in some charity organizations. After my 5th and 6th places in the Granfonda Izmir-Çeşme bike races, I lastly came 3rd in the 2024 Dalyan CARETTA CARETTA bike race and won a medal for DALYAN.

Next, we take a leisurely boat cruise along the Dalyan River. This winding river is flanked by tall reeds and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and ancient ruins. The cruise takes you through a maze of waterways, past the Lycian rock tombs, and towards the Lake Köyceğiz, a large, tranquil lake perfect for swimming and picnics.

A short boat ride from the town center brings us to Iztuzu Beach, also known as Caretta Beach or Turtle Beach. This 4.5 km stretch of golden sand is a nesting ground for the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta). The beach is protected, and there are certain restrictions to ensure the safety of the turtles, especially during the nesting season. It's a great place for swimming, sunbathing, and simply enjoying the pristine natural environment.
